Formed by Mike Harwood and Paul Wakeling while both were studying at CornwallTechnical Collegeafter Mike had returned from London (Mike in graphic design; Paul in the science department). The name was hastily arranged by Paul who was a member of the Science department Entertainments Committee & who needed to come up with a name quickly to advertise the band. The band name came from his interest in the 'Mutiny on the Bounty' and the detail surrounding their voyage to Tahiti.

It was a short-lived rocky blues band supporting an offspring from Footsbarn Theatre from Widegates - 'Something Musical' at the end of year dance at the Cornwall Tech' College. Gigs were often made up of unstructured songs and loose jamming, which worked and went over well with the audiences at the time.
