Previously known as 'New Circuit', but now playing more progessive material and hard rock (Cream, Hendrix, etc.)
The band's debut gig was just across the bridge in Bideford, but due to flood damage they had to endure a very lengthy to get to the gig, after having already travelled all the way from Cornwall.
Even in the late 60s most of the venues in Cornwall wanted to hear popular, recognisable, songs that kids could dance to. Progressive sounds were not the order of the day and bookings were hard to come by.
Dave and Malcolm would join up with The Circuit Five in late 1968, causing the band to break up.
After the band split Simon joined up with Tony Lawry to form the duo 'Simon & Tony'. |
