Popular venue for local bands, the venue was run by Mick Hanley who was also involved with booking bands at the Winter Gardens.
Run by Bernard Manning's Sister and husband. The mother handled all the money and wouldn't let any pass her by, even the bar staff had to hand their money to her and she'd give them the change back!
Now demolished withing a housing estate built on top.
