Headland advert for a Druids gig
One of the larger venues in North Cornwall, featuring many local and visiting bands. It would later become known as JJ's Bar.
Due to be demolished and replaced by apartments

Auriol Hayes remembers the club;
It was standing room only every weekend when I was working there (early 70s) - you'd be up to your ankles in beer and slops behind the bar by the end of some nights and every round had to be added up in your head - no electronic tills in those days!!
We would finish about 3 or 4 and then the boss would always get in the kitchen and cook all the staff a mega meal - breakfast, steak and chips whatever. We would have that and then sit and watch the sea for a while before tram;pign home oevr the downs to sleep the morning away. Then it was down to the beach for the afternoon an back to it again in the evening.
Band wise I cant remember much other than Blackfoot Sue - definitely not one of my top ten.
