Ian 'Ebo' Ross would sing with the band for a summer season, and then go on to sing with Tom Robinson, Terence Trent Darby and Paul Young.

The band played all over Cornwall, playing waltzes, quicksteps and a 20 minute version of Quos Big Fat Momma, complete with dru, organ and guitar solo's! The played through the hotels of Cornwall in the Summer and the club circuit throughout the year.

Richard remembers the van in the picture "stopping at traffic lights in Hayle and not starting again! We were on our way to Lands End Hotel for the Marconi dinner and dance. They sent their coach for us. It collected us and the gear and took us home afterwards. Mind you we didn't get any pocket money out of that one!"

A busy gigging schedule was difficult to manage alonside full time jobs, and although they had great fun the day jobs took priority and the band called it a day.
