A popular club in the Bodmin area that also played host to many bands, ranging from rock to cabaret.
Originally the DCLI Hospital it was converted by Ken Allen in the early 70s and started putting on bands. Ken had previously set up the Bodmin Jail nightclub and ran clubs in Saltash, Plymouth and later Liskeard, before moving to Australia.
It was a regular haunt for Ginhouse, Hairy Magpie and Alias Smith & Jones, amongst others. IT would regular host late night jam sessions with musicians, including Alan Hodge and Fritz Philips.

Downstairs was the lounge bar and bands played upstairs in the Rainbow Room
The venue continues to operate as a club, now known as Eclipse.
