Live at Gulval Mead, Penzance
Contraband were one of the most popular bands in Cornwall in the early-mid 70s, playing high energy rock and roll covers. They would pack out venues wherever they played.
Danny played a double neck guitar made by John Birch. The guitar was originally made for Dave Hill of Slade, but Danny got his hands on it first! As well as fronting the band he would also play regularly as a solo artists.
Some of their favourite venues were Smugglers at St Erth, Acton Castle at Rosudgeon and the Gulval Mead.
