A group of school friends who started life playing together at meetings of the Launceston Youth Club. They began playing on old equipment and makeshift amps, before playing their first proper gig at the Launceston Crowning of the Carnival Queen in 1962.

They played all over North Cornwall, including Tintagel, Launcells, Treburley, Kilkhampton, St Teath and St Mabyn. They also ran their own dances at the Launceston Ambulance Hall.

Robin's father built the band's amps, as well as an echo chamber. Robin composed a few instrumental numbers for the band.

With thanks to Paul Morehead
